Anne Carroll Moore
(1871 - 1961)
Anne Carroll Moore was an American educator, writer and advocate for children's libraries. She held three doctorates. One of her books, Nicholas: A Manhattan Christmas Story, won the prestigious Newbery Honor in 1925.
