Nancy Larrick
(1930 - 2004)
Nancy Larrick was an internationally recognized expert on reading whose parents’ and teachers’ guides persuaded generations of young people to tackle literature. She edited 20 anthologies of poetry for children.
Larrick earned a bachelor’s degree from Maryland’s Goucher College, a master’s degree from Columbia University, and a doctorate from New York University.
